About Sam Burke
After graduating from the University of Oregon with a degree in International Relations and Political Science, Sam spent a year teaching English in Spain, followed by two years in the Peace Corps in Nicaragua. There Sam served as an English Teacher Trainer volunteer in the rural community of La Dalia north of Matagalpa. In November of 2013 Sam left the rain and cold in Portland, Oregon to join the team in the Dominican Republic.
