Costa Rica is simply unique; despite sharing a similar history with its neighbors, it is considered the most politically stable country in Latin America as well as an example on how to foster social innovation and economic development trough a “green” economy.

You will travel around Costa Rica learning about topics in social entrepreneurship, sustainable business, environmental issues and human rights while experiencing the cold breezes of the cloud forest, the laid back lifestyle of the beach and the warm hospitality of the local people.  We will be meeting with local grassroots organizations, artisan groups, and social enterprises, as well as sharing knowledge with local leaders and engaging in hands-on activities.  This exploratory one week program is designed to break new ground, evaluating potential opportunities and to developing a platform for future collaborations between local initiatives, Social Entrepreneur Corps, and our sister organization Community Enterprise Solutions.
